Judith Fetzer Named President of National Association of State Boards of Accountancy

Fetzer brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance to the role

She will lead the organization's efforts to protect the public interest and promote the highest standards of the accounting profession

The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) has named Judith Fetzer as its new president. Fetzer is a certified public accountant (CPA) with more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance. She has served on the NASBA board of directors since 2016 and has been the organization's vice president since 2020.

In her new role, Fetzer will lead NASBA's efforts to protect the public interest and promote the highest standards of the accounting profession. She will also work to ensure that the organization's programs and services meet the needs of state boards of accountancy and the accounting profession.

"I am honored to be elected president of NASBA," said Fetzer. "I look forward to working with the board of directors and staff to advance the organization's mission and to serve the public interest." Fetzer is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Nebraska Society of CPAs.
